I'm a 50 year old male with sensitive skin after shaving. My skin on my face is beginning to sag and I have a large amount of puffiness and darkening around my eyes. I just starting dieting and exercising again and want to feel and look better both inside and out. What do you recommend?

Answer:
Dr. Perricone's Amine Complex Face Lift would be the ideal product for you. This product is from the Vitamin C Ester line. It is the lightest weight and quickest acting product. It will firm, tone, and tighten the skin on your face and neck within 20 minutes and last for 24 hours. It also has cumulative properties - the longer you use the product, the longer the results will last. The Face Lift will also diminish and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

For your eye area: Dr. Perricone has 2 eye treatments that have been most beneficial when combined with one another. One is from his Alpha Lipoic Acid line and the other is from his Vitamin C Ester line. They are a cream and liquid, respectively. You would place a small amount of the Alpha Lipoic Cream on your fingertip and add a drop or 2 of the Vitamin C Ester and blend the 2 together, then pat around your eye area. You would want to start this eye treatment off slowly, once every other day for a week, then once a day for a week, then every morning and night. These are very active product so you would want to start off slowly to prevent any irritation. The 2 eye area therapies together will diminish fine lines, reduce puffiness, and prevent/heal dark circles around your eye area.

I had full face laser resurfacing one year ago and my skin has tiny bumps on every pore. Two doctors said it was not milia, just acne. I am 55 years old, wrinkles are gone, but skin texture is worse! Which
products would be most helpful for me? What about DMAE?

Which product is the DMAE/vitamin C ester formula, that you spoke of in the book? Will your products also take care of the white spots that are appearing along my chin line, and on my neck and brown spots on my hands and arms?? I was a lifeguard and swim instructor during my teens and we always got burned. Now that I'm 44 my skin, which has never gotten over acne and enlarged pores, is showing the effects of so much sun!

All Vitamin C Ester products that say with NTP Complex have the DMAE (Concentrated Restorative Cream, Amine Complex Face Lift and Vitamin C Eye Area Therapy). Regarding the white spots and brown spots - our product line will soften the appearance but probably not show dramatic changes. Stay tuned...the doctor is in the process of developing a whitening line! The Alpha Lipoic Acid Face Firming Activator is good for enlarged pores and sun damage (give your skin time to adjust to the product- 1 week of applying every other day, then 1 week of once a day) use it twice a day. I would then try the Concentrated Restorative Cream over the Face Firming Activator at night. You should see results within the first week of usage.

Can I get a "micro" type peel using alpha Lipoic acid? (like the glycolic and salcytic acid peels?)

Answer:
You may, but, you will probably need to wait a week before using the Alpha Lipoic Acid on the area.

Question:
How long does one container or tube last?

Answer:
2 oz. bottle will last approximately 2-3 months with a once a day application. The eye area therapies can last up to 4-6 months. Body lotion-6 oz. will last at least 2 months-once a day application-this is variable. Cleanser- 3-4 months using it twice daily-you only need to use this sparingly.
