SYNOPSYS:
Addressograph merged with Multigraph to become AM International. Created new master logo and identity for all subsidiaries plus standards for all elements for each division, resulting in a complete company-wide Graphics Standards Program.

MOST SIGNIFICANT ASPECT:
600 various printed items were pared down to 50, giving the new conglomerate and all its subsidiaries a uniform look and saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in printing costs, product labeling, vehicle identification and other unnecessary duplication. 

FULL STORY:
Addressograph-Multigraph merged to become AM International way back in 1978. New corporate identity program was developed and 600 various documents were pared down to 50 company-wide. This enabled tremendous cost savings, company-wide branding, and resulted in a Graphics Standards Guide all divisions used to develop new elements.


AM had been around since the 1890's.
