Keyword.com Examples

"Let's look at some well known global products and smaller local services for our examples."

For our first example, we will look at some products from Pepsi.

Our keywords will be: Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi

The web page that contains the product information for Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi is this page/url:

http://www.pepsiproductfacts.com/infobyproduct.php?brand_fam_id=1051&brand_id=1000&product=Caffeine%20Free%20Diet%20Pepsi&or=pusa.1067

In the above example, we have the keywords going directly to the specific information on the product. The URL is too difficult to remember for users. The user looks on the can for information, and finds this in small print:

enter Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi at keyword.com.

When the user enters the keywords and clicks GO on keyword.com they go directly to the URL for the product. The user does not have to search a search engine or the Pepsi web site.

For our second example, we will look at some products from Canon.

Our keywords will be: Canon EOS 40d

The web page that contains the product information for the Canon EOS 40d is this page/url:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=17779

In this example, we have the keywords going directly to the specific information on the product. Again, the URL is too difficult to remember for users AND the address www.canon.com does not contain the information for the product. The user looks on the marketing literature for information, and finds this in small print:

enter Canon EOS 40d at keyword.com.

When the user enters the keywords and clicks GO on keyword.com they go directly to the URL for the product. The user does not have to search a search engine or the Canon web site.

For our third example, we will look at an italian food restaurant that is local to the keyword.com headquarters. The restaurant name is Stellas Serious Italian Restaurant and Lounge.

Our keywords will be: Stellas Italian Restaurant menu Monarch Beach

The web page for Stella's restaurant is this page/url:

http://www.stellasitalian.com/media/lunch-02-07.pdf

In this example, keyword.com launches the PDF file for the menu. The user looks on the coupon or other literature sent in the mail to local residence and finds this in small print:

enter Stellas Italian Restaurant menu Monarch Beach at keyword.com.

When the user enters the keywords and clicks GO on keyword.com they go directly to the URL for the restaurant. The user does not have to remember the URL.

This example simply illustrates that files such as PDF files on a website can be launched. With keyword.com all they do is enter in the keywords you tell them and they go directly where you want them to go. Keyword.com can also be used in Radio and Television media in much the same way.

Stella's might also choose the phone number as the best keyword.com keyword.

Last but not least, codes of any sort, bar codes, coupon codes, any uniquely identifiable code, all make excellent keyword.com keywords.

We hope you found these examples helpful!
